The first results of the Twinning Initiative

The Russian invasion to Ukraine has done serious and long-lasting harm to the Higher Education sector of Ukraine. With the academic community being forced either to flee  or to stay to fight back, it has put the whole sector under the significant pressure.

Twinning has been created to help mitigate some of the impacts of the conflict, and offer real, tangible support to universities in Ukraine, both in the short term, but also in the long term as the universities look to rebuild post conflict.

We are delighted to see one of the first Twinning pairs of the University of Edinburgh and T. Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in action.
