Sarah O’Sullivan (Brazil)
Sarah O’Sullivan is a Latin America higher education expert with an academic background in social science and journalism. Based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Sarah is a member of the international counsel of the Brazilian National Association of Hybrid Learning.
Sarah worked as higher education consultant for the Irish government for more than seven years in Brazil, representing more than 30 Irish institutes of higher education. She helped universities and colleges to create lean strategic plans for increased engagement with stakeholders across the Brazilian education landscape, and to increase student recruitment.
Sarah was directly involved in the foundation of multimillion Euro partnerships in Brazil for higher education clients. Sarah organised the largest ever scientific mission from Brazil to Ireland, organising the mobility of more than 80 principal investigators and three funding agency presidents from Brazil.
She is hugely knowledgeable on education across Latin America, is well connected with universities, schools and agents and enjoys a wide network of professional collaborators dotted in various markets around the region.
Yerbol Suleimenov, PhD (Kazakhstan)
Yerbol has hands-on experience of working in Central Asian countries. He is the Chairman of the International Science and Commercialization Board within the World bank’s Fostering Productive Innovations Project.
Until recently, Yerbol worked as Rector of Almaty Management University. He created a development strategy with new vision until 2025, AMBA and BGA accreditation of the Graduate Business School and established strategic partnerships with Arizona State University and Cintana Education.
Yerbol Suleimenov has a PhD in Mathematics obtained after graduating in Financial Mathematics from the University of Manchester.
