CCG always look at its clients’ business as a whole so that it is able to identify and address all opportunities for a client company through international activity, export, outsourcing, direct investment and supply chain development.
The main products currently are
- Market access – this is one of the core competencies within CCG as it helps a company understand a market and then access identified opportunities within their chosen market. CCG has been developing and refined this process since our conception.
An outline of the current process works as follows
- The project starts with a detailed product knowledge session with an appointed account managers and client director. Following this a detailed market entry strategy is prepared based on staff in the local markets conducting detailed and focused local research, getting a thorough understanding of the relevant sector and discussing with local contacts their interests and needs. The need for local legal licensing, marketing issues and other local or cultural requirements is also researched.
Once the strategy is completed the itinerary is developed for the visit.
Market Visits – A market visit is central to the success of any project. While developing the itinerary local CCG staff will have met with the potential partners/clients to introduce the project and assess the interest in it. Meetings are then arranged for the client, and with key influencers, this can include government, government agencies, trade associations and municipalities.
All clients are accompanied to each meeting by a local CCG account manager who will take notes and, if necessary, assist with translations. Following the visit, there will be a detailed debrief, and appropriate follow-up actions will be agreed. CCG will arrange a further market visit for follow up and arrange additional meetings if required.
EU Funding – Within some of the EU States there is significant scope for many of clients to get involved in projects which are funded through devolved EU funding, CCG has become specialists in this area, and work with government agencies to develop projects which clients could be involved in, over the past few years CCG have assisted clients to win projects with a value of over 5 million euros in the Baltic alone and this is expected to continue post-Brexit.
Outsourcing/Direct Investment – excellent outsourcing and direct investment opportunities are available in a whole range of areas, from manufacturing through to back office services.
Over the past few years CCG has helped a range of companies find outsourcing partners, in a whole range of areas, including:
- Textile production
- Contract Manufacturing
- Food and Drink
- Professional Services
CCG assists in locating outsourcing partners, verifying the quality and integrity of the potential partners, gathers cost quotes for work, arranges for the client to visit these potential partners in the relevant country and CCG also offers ongoing support through any negotiations.
CCG also works on behalf of companies and development agencies to facilitate inward investment and has been responsible for some of the biggest projects in the region, including the establishment of an IT development centre (250 jobs)
Education – CCG has an impressive track record in Education, having worked with over 50 UK institutions and a number of others in the markets where CCG offices are based. CCG has also been involved in some of the most innovative education projects including the managing of the establishment of three joint faculties between Universities, and a major project to open a full campus for a UK university.
Trade Missions – Each mission provides a tailored service and includes individual sales meetings during the course of the visit. CCG will run sector-specific missions and tie them into major international exhibitions allowing clients the opportunity to meet with potential customers or distributors at the exhibition in addition to arranging individual meetings with potential partners. The aim of these missions can be either bespoke or be set up to enable a range of different clients to acquire an understanding of the opportunities which may exist for them in their sector. CCG will also arrange meetings with key local organisations including government departments, municipalities and relevant industry associations.
