You are an academic and seeking help?

Dear academic - we hope you are safe during this difficult time. CCG are working hard to support academics who have been forced to leave Ukraine, talking with universities across the world keen to offer academics a role at their institutions.

Below is a list of offers and projects developed by international universities or organisations eager to help Ukrainian academics. Please follow the links to see the kinds of assistance available and how to apply. We will update this list frequently.

The British Academy’s Researchers at Risk Scheme

The Programme enables UK universities to provide additional two-year fellowships to researchers at risk with funding of circa £37,000 per annum. Researchers and innovators supported through this Programme will be able to take up these temporary fellowships at UK institutions, continue their research, enhance their skills and build long-lasting collaborative links with UK counterparts. Applications must be made by UK-based institutions, so you will need to find a host university who can then nominate you for the fellowship.

The next deadline for applications will be 5:00pm BST on Wedensday 20 July 2022. Further application rounds will be held in the autumn – dates will be announced in due course.
