Robert Gordon University

Aberdeen Business School, the largest faculty of Robert Gordon University, UK engaged Cormack Consultancy Group (CCG) in January 2011. We entered into the contract with them following only two meetings as we were immediately impressed with the professionalism they demonstrated and due to the breadth and depth of their contact network within the Baltic States. We requested that CCG provide a market intelligence report related to the strengths and aspirations of our organisation. This was provided speedily and accurately, with the appropriate focus on our operational capacity. We requested a visit to the Baltics to meet with key contacts identified through CCG and this was organised efficiently and speedily. An initial visit by two senior members of the Aberdeen Business School took place at the end of March 2011, with immediate follow-up possibilities in order for us to formulate a Business Strategy for the Baltics. I have been working with CCG and Charles Cormack for over eighteen months. I initially commissioned CCG to provide a market assessment for me covering the academic and certain strategic industry sectors. That work and report was successfully completed and they have been facilitating and managing my business development into the Baltic States since. Charles has also given me opportunity to assess business potential in other parts of the world.

Charles has strong networks at senior government and industry levels. Typical examples include his organisation and facilitation of my meetings with the Lithuanian Minister for Education and the Latvia Deputy Minister for the Economy visit to the Institute in Scotland.

CCG have organised both speculative and focused business development opportunities for me therefore allowing me to arrive at the airport and be accompanied to organised meetings and sessions with potential clients.
