IT 3000, Latvia

Background to the project

The project was initiated by the Latvian Ministry of Economy and Accenture. The aim of the project was to attract 3000 international students a year to Latvia to study Computer Science who then could stay and work in the region.

Essence of the projects

CCG was asked to develop the model, based on partnership between local and international universities. According to the model, students were able to study in Latvia and receive local and UK/US degrees. It’s worth saying the UK/US degree would be at a much lower cost than if students studied in the UK/US. The outcome of the project was the creation of 5 strategic partnership and the launch of first double degree programmes.
