CCG are delighted to announce that John Mountford has joined CCG as an Associate to support the continued development of the company’s offer in the Technical and Vocational Education Training sector.
John has worked in the education sector for over 25 years, including working as an International Director in both the college and university sector; as International Director for the Association of Colleges’ for six years; and most recently, Head of International Development for SEMTA, the UK’s Sector Skills Council for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering.
John will be working with both international and UK clients, supporting projects across Central and Eastern Europe, the CIS and the USA on the development of TVET initiatives and also with UK college clients who are looking to develop and expand their international activity.
CCG sees a range of opportunities for UK colleges and skills sector providers to work internationally over the next few years. More specifically across markets where we are active and in a number of areas including:
- technical and vocational school capacity building;
- sector specific training;
- recruitment of European (and international students (for HE and L3 programmes);
- contributing to international projects;
- the development of Train the Trainer programmes.
